DATES

The Competition begins April 22, 2014 and ends July 27, 2014 at midnight. The jury will meet end of august and will announce the winner on our facebook page.

 

WHO MAY ENTER

The Competition is open only to individuals who are from 13 to 18 years of age and reside in Europe.

 

HOW TO ENTER

Each entry consists one single image of the individual, and it is free of entry. To enter, visit www.newfacesofeurope.info and complete the survey form with the required information, including your name, and e-mail address, and photo caption and submit along with your photograph in accordance with the instructions that follow.

Your photo should be a Portrait of yourself (selfie) and you should be holding a WORD (in whatever support) that is important for you; • Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. • No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this Competition. • All digital files must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be of high quality. • The photograph must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.

 

COMPETITION PRIZE

One First Prize will be awarded. The First Prize consists of: (1) a camera of a value of 250 Euros 2) the winning image will be featured during the International Peace Seminar in Moss 2014; (3) the winning image will be featured on the Constitution Celebration in Norway 2014 and on the competition website.

 

JUDGING

Judging consists of a panel of professionals and different cultural actors in Norway/Denmark. The Judging Criteria are as follows:(1) Creativity 50%;(2) Photographic quality 50%. The winner will be chosen the first week of August 2014 and will be notified by e-mail. Decisions of the Judges are final and binding.

 

LICENSE

Additionally, by entering, each entrant grants BFV the unrestricted right to use all statements and pictures made in connection with the Competition.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering this Competition, all entrants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless BFV and its partners, from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Competition or any Competition-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder.BFV assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Competition entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms.

 

DATA PRIVACY

Personal data shall be processed fairly and lawfully and, in particular, shall not be processed externally for any other purpose than the project New faces of Europe.
