Jack Vergeman has traveled to India with the support of BFV from 4th to 10th august. He has been visiting Ananya school  (http://www.ananyatrustindia.org) and the whole programme was co-organised with our Play for peace facilitator and trainer Kathryn Kylee. Jack has been given the task to document his visit by taking pictures and updating the blog of BFV with information on his travel and to visit youth in their school and share some of the classes. See more on http://youthandaction.wordpress.com/)

A fabulous experience for one youth from Moss.

Jack presented his travel in a video which is posted on youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKc6CyJ1E3A

It was organized from Tuesday to Wednesday (2 full days)

It was followed by 6 youth (Jørgen Andresen Osberg, Vilde Marie Handeland, Ane Meyer, Sivert Meyer Solheim, Jack Vergeman)

It ended up in the official forming of the 1st play for peace club in Norway.

Very positive/interesting experience for the youth of Moss.

They will start in the autumn of 2013 to visit different schools and play with different people around them.

First visit will be organized in Halmstad Rygge. They will set some dates and programme soon.  Contact: Jørgen Andresen Osberg.

The 2 days were ran smoothly. The programme was efficient. The youth were delivered an official training certificate.

The workshop was organized on Thursday 15th august from 10.00 to 13.00. Synøve Faldalen was giving the workshop presenting the work of sabona – preparing the work of Fredsbarna (expecting funding).

Baard Flesjø was also present – and took notes on behalf of BFV.

The visit of the youth to the kindergarten in VÃ¥ler was organized on Wednesday 14th from 13.00 to 14.30. This initiative was a first attempt/try out before expanding our projects to the kindergarten of the region and starting up our pilot-project Fredsbarna.

Though the youth was very little prepared (only one day of training), they tried to integrate quite well. The facilitators did not intervene in order to make them realize what the needs are and how active they have to be in such situations. The group of children were thrilled. Good experience to be proposed further in the programme in 2014.

13 Children (aged 3 to 5) from Doremi VÃ¥ler Barnehage have been invited on stage of Parkteatret in Moss to sing 2 songs: one in norwegian Morgendagens Søsken and one in english Sing me a rainbow. The children were accompanied on stage by youth participating to the seminar. 2 pedagogues were present (Kirsti playing the piano, Lone was directing the children). All were wearing t-shirts from the seminar! The event was well organized. The children were offered a little symbolic present from the youth.
